At the time, Pressflip's machine learning technology was very different from Google, Yahoo! and other large search engines. It learned user interests in real-time, returning more relevant results as they searched. Unfortunately, Google's rapid development whittled away Pressflip's edge, and the company was eventually forced to shut down.
